Welcome to "Tai Ji Wang" online ordering service ("the Service"), provided by TaiNova Hospitality Co. ("the Company", "we", "us"). Please read the following Terms of Service ("these Terms") carefully before using the Service. By registering for, logging into, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

The Service allows users to place online orders with partner restaurants via a web interface, and choose pickup or delivery (fulfilled by our third-party delivery partner, Lalamove). The actual food items, pricing, availability, and preparation time are determined by each partner restaurant. The Company does not warrant the quality, taste, or hygiene of the food itself, but will assist in handling related complaints.

2. Account Registration and Use
  • You must provide a valid phone number and complete SMS one-time password (OTP) verification to register for and use the Service.
  • You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of your registration information, and for all activity under your account.
  • You should safeguard your account access credentials (including verification codes) and notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where we discover abnormal activity, fraud, or violations of these Terms.
3. Orders and Payment
  • Submitting an order through the Service constitutes an offer to purchase from the partner restaurant; the order is formed once accepted by the restaurant.
  • Supported payment methods include credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and LINE Pay, with transactions processed through our third-party payment provider, TapPay.
  • You should confirm the order details (items, quantities, amount, pickup or delivery method) are correct before submitting.
  • If an order issue arises due to system, network, or other causes not attributable to the Company, the Company will assist in coordinating with the restaurant, but does not guarantee a specific outcome.
4. Delivery Service

Orders selected for delivery will be fulfilled by a third-party delivery partner (such as Lalamove). To complete delivery, you agree that the Company may provide necessary recipient information (name, phone number, address) to the delivery partner. Actual delivery times may vary due to traffic, weather, or delivery personnel dispatch, and the Company will make reasonable efforts to assist with any delays or delivery issues.

5. Order Cancellation and Refunds
  • Once an order has been accepted by the restaurant or the delivery process has begun, whether it can be cancelled depends on the order's preparation progress or delivery dispatch status; not all orders can be cancelled unconditionally.
  • For approved cancellations of orders already paid, refunds will be issued to your original payment method; actual crediting time depends on the processing time of your card issuer or payment provider.
  • For disputes regarding food quality, missing items, or delivery issues, please use the in-app customer service / dispute feature, and we will assist in communicating with the restaurant.
6. Coupons and Promotions

The Service may offer coupons, discount codes, or promotional activities from time to time. Their scope, conditions of use, and validity periods are subject to the rules announced for each activity. The Company reserves the right to modify, terminate, or withdraw any promotional activity, and may reasonably limit the number of uses per account to prevent abuse.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Provide false, impersonated, or fraudulent ordering or payment information.
  • Use automated programs, bots, or other non-manual means to bypass human verification mechanisms or place bulk orders.
  • Maliciously harass restaurant staff, delivery personnel, or other users.
  • Engage in any conduct that violates the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan) or these Terms.

Violation of the above may result in suspension or termination of your account, and the Company reserves the right to pursue applicable legal remedies.

8. Intellectual Property

The website design, software, logos, text, and other content of the Service are the intellectual property of the Company or its licensors. No part may be reproduced, modified, distributed, or used commercially without authorization.

9. Changes, Suspension, and Termination of Service

The Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate all or part of the Service at any time, and will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice. The Company is not liable for service interruptions due to emergency maintenance, system failure, or force majeure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. The Company's total liability shall not, under any circumstances, exceed the amount you actually paid for the order in dispute.

11. Privacy

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how the Service collects, uses, and protects your personal data. The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

The Company reserves the right to revise these Terms at any time. Revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Any disputes arising from the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Taiwan Taipei District Court as the court of first instance.
